2010 Basketball Schedule - Final Week
This outstanding league starts in January!
Former Avondale Varsity Coach Todd Henderson, Play 4 Fun Sports
and Auburn Hills Parks and Recreation present this popular
instructional basketball league which is focused on fundamentals,
sportsmanship, teamwork, equal playing time, and fun. Boys
and girls will develop their basketball skills through practices
and weekly games. Each team will have one practice a week,
on Monday or Wednesday, to continually focus on developing
players’ skills and understanding of the game! The first
two weeks will be focused on skill development and assessing
players’ abilities. After the first 2 weeks, players
will be divided into teams and play in officiated games each
Saturday. Volunteer coaches are needed!
League begins Saturday, January 23th
Divisions: 1st and 2nd grade, 3rd and 4th grade, 5th and 6th
grade, 7th and 8th grade

Parks and Recreation present the 2009 Jackethoops Basketball
Clinic. This exciting program is for boys and girls ages 6-9
(mornings) and ages 10-13 (afternoons). If your child loves
basketball or is just interested in learning how to play,
this is the program you’re looking for! Former Avondale
Varsity basketball coach Todd Henderson and the Play 4 Fun
Sports coaching staff will help your children improve their
skills. This is a great way to prepare your child for our
upcoming basketball league, which will start in January. Each
day your child will receive excellent training, while they
develop their skills and have fun!
Ages 6-9 Saturdays December 5, 12, 19 10 a.m. – noon
Auburn Hills Community Center
Ages 10-13 Saturdays December 5, 12, 19 12:30 – 2:30
p.m. Auburn Hills Community Center
Fee: $40 Auburn Hills Residents - $50 non-residents
